PrimeGlobal to offer BLI’s e-learning library to its membership

PrimeGlobal, one of the five largest associations of independent accounting firms in the world, is offering a customized on-demand library of the Business Learning Institute’s future-ready e-learning programs to its membership, the organizations have announced.

“Partnering with BLI has brought to PrimeGlobal membership our first on-demand learning library," said Michelle Arnold, PrimeGlobal North America's chief regional officer. "Member firms are eager to utilize the opportunities at many different levels in the firms and in a wide range of disciplines. Piloting this e-learning program with the Business Learning Institute is revolutionary in providing CPE opportunities and 24/7 access for our association."

Also known as BLI, the Business Learning Institute’s programs are mapped to seven “future-ready competencies” — skill sets that accounting and finance professionals will need to master in order to succeed going forward. Those competencies are:

  • Anticipating and serving evolving needs
  • Communication
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Integration and collaboration
  • Leadership
  • Technological acumen and data analytics
  • Technical functional and domain expertise

In addition, an eighth category of skills will be offered featuring the 10 most popular BLI on-demand courses currently available.

The partnership between PrimeGlobal and BLI is designed to give accounting and finance professionals the skills they will need to best serve their clients in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex world.

“We are excited to partner with PrimeGlobal on an innovative learning portfolio of success skills based on our research into the critical competencies that CPAs, finance and accounting professionals will need to be more future-ready and to thrive in this ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution,’” said Tom Hood, CPA, CITP, CGMA, CEO of the Business Learning Institute.
