Welcome to the 2026 Future of Finance Summit!
We are standing at a pivotal moment. Technology is accelerating at an unprecedented pace, artificial intelligence is moving rapidly from theory to practice, and the expectations placed on finance leaders is redefining how they create insight, deliver impact and guide business
performance. Yet amid all this change, one truth remains constant: transformation succeeds only when people are empowered to lead it.
However, research shows that transformation efforts frequently fall short not because the technology is inadequate, but because organizations underinvest in people—especially in upskilling, change readiness, and the mindsets required to thrive in a digital era. Forwardlooking finance functions are shifting from linear career ladders to dynamic growth paths, cultivating T-shaped professionals, and building cultures where curiosity and continuous learning drive innovation.
The role of the CFO is undergoing a tectonic shift – let’s RISE to the opportunity!
Finance leaders are being asked to own more than ever — technology, data, risk, talent, and value creation — all while guiding their teams through the expectations around deploying AI.
The squeeze is real. However, the opportunity is much bigger.
We welcome you to the 2026 Future of Finance Summit centered around the theme “Owning the Squeeze: Embrace the Move to Value.” This isn’t a sit-and-listen conference — it’s a peer-led, working summit designed so you leave with clear next steps and an individualized action plan.
The agenda reflects what the profession has told us through our Rise2040, the professions global visioning initiative that to date has gathered over 7,000 voices across 25 countries across all corners of our profession.
The signal is unmistakable: we’re living a Great Identity Shift — from reporting and compliance to strategic foresight and advisory. AI is a force multiplier but there is no artificial wisdom. Trust, judgment and relationships remain our defining edge. We - “humans” - are in the lead. Business leaders needs us more than ever!
Across our three days together, we will talk evolution from CFO to Chief Value Officer, harnessing agentic AI, talent models of the future and how to be that “Human in the Lead”.
Own the squeeze. Move to value. Welcome to the Future of Finance!
Welcome to National Harbor!
