Business Partnering

Program

From Scorekeeper to Strategic Decision Leader

Today's finance professionals are expected to do far more than report results — they're expected to influence decisions, challenge assumptions, shape strategy, lead transformation, and help their organizations navigate an increasingly AI-enabled business environment.

The Finance Business Partnering Program is a two-series professional development journey designed to help finance and accounting professionals build the capabilities needed to become trusted advisors and strategic business partners. Each series is six modules of two hours each, twelve contact hours per series. Through practical application, real-world business scenarios, and guided use of AI tools, participants develop the business acumen, communication skills, critical thinking, judgment, and influence required to create greater value for their organizations.

Built on the Finance Business Partnering Framework

Every module is anchored to one element of a single framework, and each session opens with the question that element answers. Participants always know which capability they are building and how it connects to the rest.

UNDERSTAND THE BUSINESS

"How does this business create value?"

DISCOVER

"What do we not understand yet?"

CREATE INSIGHT

"What do the numbers actually mean?"

COMMUNICATE

"How do I communicate so leaders act?"

INFLUENCE

"How do I influence better business decisions?"

LEAD

"How do we create lasting organizational value?"

How Every Module Works

This is a designed program, not a lecture series. Every module follows the same architecture, so the experience is consistent and each session produces something participants keep.
