Amy Stumme is a Certified Professional Coactive Coach with the Maryland Association of CPAs and Business Learning Institute. As a coach, Amy partners with clients in a creative process that inspires them to create the best version of their lives.
As a facilitator, Amy helps teams and businesses collaborate and think strategically. Her passion is designing and facilitating meetings that create the best possible outcomes for the client. She uses the visual and highly engaging Insights to Action (I2A) process that includes creating a bold vision for the future and a roadmap of actionable goals. Amy has facilitated strategic planning sessions for several Maryland CPA firms (Smith Elliott Kearns & Co., DeLeon & Stang, bgr CPAs, Squire Lemkin, RLH CPAs, Gary R. Bozel & Associates) and national CPA firms (Moss Adams LLP, Melanson Heath & Co., Horne LLC). Her facilitation and strategic planning experience also includes nonprofits (AICPA, The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, The Colorado Society of CPAs, the Oregon Society of CPAs) and businesses (Peak Investment Advisors). In Fall of 2016, she taught a series of strategic planning and
facilitation workshops for Under Armour.
Amy is certified in the design and facilitation of collaborative work using ThinkTankTM, a leading edge web-based technology used by governments, industry, and the scientific community. She has designed and implemented ThinkTank events for Sage NA, Smith Elliott Kearns & Co., Melanson Heath & Co. and an Economic Summit to create a shared vision for the future of Maryland as part of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s Maryland Competitiveness Coalition. Most recently she has created a series of ThinkApps in conjunction with the Anticipatory Organization learning program developed by futurist Dan Burrus.
Amy holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
